26. Install CV Shafts
27 through 29. Install OEM struts/spring with Fabtech spacer (or install Fox Coilovers)
A vice works well to set initial height on the coilovers - I used a bit of
rubber crepe to protect the perty blue finish when clamping them in.
PreRunnerGreg says about 2" between the top of the threads and the locking ring
is a good place to start.
Makeshift spring perch wrenches: One cut off screwdriver and one rounded ground down punch.
Here they are installed:
30. Install bearing assembly onto Fabtech steering knuckle.
31. Install steering knuckle - lower ball joint first, then slip the axle splines through the hub, then upper ball joint.
32. Torque axle nut.
33. Do other side.
